Easter

I have finally made it to the computer to download pictures for the week. It has been busy!
Tuesday night, my sister-in-law Stephanie came over. Hopefully she had fun entertaining the boys! It was nice as Tad was in class all night and I always need the help. She lives and NC and was coming from FL where they just found a townhome where my brother will be stationed after he comes home from Iraq next month. I am glad we will have a warm place to visit! GJ and dad chilling on Easter Sunday.
The search for eggs. Swinging. Ethan taught him how to do it on his belly. GJ loves playing with the eggs.

First Haircut

Wow, three posts in one day, its nice to have the day off! I should be cleaning, but instead I am blogging. We finally cut GJ's hair for the first time. He mostly screamed so you don't have to watch the video because its just him crying, but we sure think he is cute! He may look back and think this is cruel and unusual punishment.

If you notice the clothes pins on my shirt, SM's new thing is going around hooking them onto things.

Hilton Head

Tad went to Hilton Head last week for a conference. Last year he was able to take us, which was really nice. The whole time I kept looking for alligators in the water and never saw one, but of course when he goes back alone, he gets to see one. Can you see his eyes just popping out of the water?

He's gonna shoot 'em

That is was SM keeps saying he's gonna do with that gun. Every night SM says 'please bless JJ in the war' though he doesn't remember who he is, he only saw him once when he was less than one. But here he is, finally sending a picture so we know he is alive.
How can I not support the war when you have a brother over there doing so much?
He is not great at keeping up, especially with me and seems to have lost our phone numbers, which is class LB (li'l bro). When asked about this, he responded: "Sometimes you lose things when you're busy doing stuff, like defending freedom."
We love JJ and can't wait till you come home (and move to Florida so we can come visit!)

911

So today was the first time I have ever called 911. GJ had a new flavor of baby food (vegtable beef) and he broke out in hives and started breathing weird so I totally freaked. I actually forced him to drink some Benadryl so by the time the paramedics actually got there, he was breathing much bettter. They checked him out and he seemed to be fine, just said to watch him and call back if the hives came back after the Benadryl wore off. Super scary moment for me though. Why do these things always happen when Tad is out of town? I was supposed to babysit but went to go pick up Rhett, but they ended up not going out due to storms and no parking at Tech, so I just hung out there with Megan's mom till I wasn't so freaked out and watched the kids while she ran to the store and then she made me cookies. I can see where Megan gets it. Who is going to take care of me when they move?

Back from Puerto Rico! (caution-lots of pictures)

We went to Puerto Rico to visit my sister Lisa and her 4 week old baby and left dad and SM at home. We had a lovely time. GJ did great on the flights and even the 4 hour layover in Florida wasn't that bad. We got back late last night though and I had been up since 5am with GJ and his new front tooth so am very tired.
Since you can't do a lot with 2 babies, we didn't get out too much, but we still had a great time. I can't wait till we can go back next year (hopefully) with the whole family. Cousins. No, though Lisa was weary of it, GJ never made an attempt to eat her. Please compare thighs here.
Hermanas We went on a stroller walk in Quebradillas that overlooked the ocean and beach. It was pretty windy though when we weren't in the trees. Palm fronds kept attacking me. After church with Amelia's favorite Aunt. Abuelo holding her for the first time. I had to force him, he was afraid he was going to break her.All bundled up. Getting wet and not sure how he really felt about that. New little family, first time at church. She has the cutest little dresses. Almost makes me want to have a girl! Who wouldn't love to walk out of church to this. GJ chilling at the beach.
GJ and Lisa. He had quadrupled in size since she was with us all summer when he was born.

Playa

Though we miss SM and Tad a lot, GJ and I are still managing to have a magnificent time in Puerto Rico.

Bedtime

It was SM's turn to pray tonight. He was thankful for brocolli, chocolate, ice cream, and Ethan's party. We are still having trouble at bedtime and after getting up 10 times we just ignore him, which leads to him falling asleep in the middle of the hall.
