You can always pass out the words to primary songs like "When Joseph Went to Bethlehem" for everyone to sing in between a little script read by a narrator. But, if you don't have time for this than I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone will still have fun no matter what we do.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17173328836000251793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254880298502157495.post-35512530723909593582007-11-27T09:20:00.000-05:002007-11-27T09:20:00.000-05:00Maybe - if you wanted to plan this - we could have...Maybe - if you wanted to plan this - we could have the ward sign/make Christmas cards for Matthew Clark or for other missionaries or for someone else. It might be a good thing - set up a 'craft' table for the kids and let them go back there and go to town, give them green and red construction paper, get the preschool people to make some Christmas cutouts, crayons, etc. It'd keep them busy for at least a few minutes.
Yes on Santa!
And yes on food - last year you did a great job rallying everyone for food. I'll make desserts again!VirtualMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04431895648521358806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254880298502157495.post-65249856063592124052007-11-26T14:29:00.000-05:002007-11-26T14:29:00.000-05:00Planning ahead is overrated. You can still do a nativity!

The 12 days of Christmas by table is always fun.clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10796436574537724947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8254880298502157495.post-45121056789838066162007-11-26T13:16:00.000-05:002007-11-26T13:16:00.000-05:00I just came across an idea for a Polar Express par...I just came across an idea for a Polar Express party from someone else...

"I am doing a polar express ward christmas Party. I few ideas, I am
decorating the gym with fake snow, clear christmas lights and hanging
silver snow flakes that I bought at Michaels. We are having everyone that wants to wear PJ's. We are serving hot chocolate and cakes and cookies. I downloaded the music from the show and I am going to play it. They have some fun songs. I found a website that has a polar express party kit...

http://www.houghtonmifflinbooks.com/features/thepolarexpress/

click at the top where it says polar fun and games for ideas of this to do. Crafts and stuff. You could even have the movie playing if you wanted..."

This is someone elses idea but I think sounds like fun. I may try to use it for our YW party.Rushellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09605773857471052295noreply@blogger.com
