Hungry?

I am more into this election than I have been on any others and I thought this was funny.
I saw it on a site from someone from my hometown, though she probably doesn't even know I see her blog.

Double Trouble

We went to the doctor this morning and confirmed double ear infections. Poor baby. He has had a low grade fever the last few days and really hasn't been eating like normal (i know, he could stand to skip a few meals) but this morning he was at 102. He cried from the moment we got home last night unless someone was holding him. All night. The whole night. Poor Tad is such a good husband, he stayed up with him most of the time and didn't get much sleep. I am just glad its not contagious and he is on the pink stuff, so hopefully that will knock it out quick.

More Snow

It started snowing again Sat morning and we had a lots of fun outside. After we scrounged the house for winter clothes. I realized we are definitely not ready for a storm. The whole city for that matter though. They cancelled church Saturday afternoon because of the two inches. But it was supposed to freeze at night and there are no salt trucks in the city. Of course the roads were find by Sunday morning, but better safe than sorry. Here is Mr. Leafy. Tad's first snowman broke. We have too many leaves in our yard. Tad was very determined while working on his snowmen. I had no idea how dedicated he was to snow play. SM on the other wasn't really sure what to think about the whole thing. He played outside for over an hour though before he had to come in and drank 2 cups of hot chocolate. We couldn't find a sled, so we used the top of a storage container to get down the hill in our back yard. SM only had fun when he went with me. GJ slept through all the fun.

Future Photographer?

SM got a hold of the camera last night and threw a tantrum if you took it away. Here are some good shots he was able to capture. Well, maybe he needs a little more practice...We did manage to surprise the Stuarts for their going away party. We are sad they are leaving but excited that someone has graduated (that gives us hope!) and is actually moving on.

Let it snow......In Atlanta???

Miracle of miracles. I haven't seen snow for 5 years and I look out the window to a light sprinkle of snow. Within an hour we actually had big flakes and then it actually started to cover the ground. Now we didn't exactly get enough for a snowman, but it was fun for one day. In the morning it was still there, but it was raining, so it has now all melted away. But you would think I had never seen snow before, I was so excited!

Cute Boys

I took a total of 27 pictures on Sunday with the boys in matching clothes and none of them turned out good. These are the best two. They sure are cuddley cute though. SM's eyes are no longer blue. I can't say when they changed or even what color they are now. When I ask him, he says green.

Trains, Trains, Trains

Every chance he gets, he is playing with trains. He even sleeps with Percy (I know, its really Henry, but its too late now, he won't accept the change). I caught him playing with his trains in his little people zoo this morning. Who needs the animals? GJ is glad to slobber all over them.

30 Years!

Tad turned the big 30 yesterday. He is not super happy about it, but I say he still looks young. We are hoping he can get his PhD before he hits 40.

We got a sitter and had lunch on top of the Westin. They have a rotating restaurant up top and the view was amazing. He then had a nice nap with GJ. We then had cake, put the kids to bed and watched a movie, so it was a fun relaxing day! We are so grateful for all of the hard work he puts in at school and church, and for our family. He a great dad and we love him. He takes care of so much stuff that I loathe (the cars, the house, paperwork, bills) He stresses out to much, but he does so much and we couldn't ask for a better dad. Happy Birthday Daddy!

Even though I seem to countdown the days till we are done and can move, we love this city and it was fun to see it from so high up!
