End of preschool

I am catching up a bit here before we go on vacation. Here is SM on his last school day. they had a Japanese celebration. He has learned so much this year and he is missing school! I hope we can work something out for him next year. I am a huge fan now of Montessori and will hopefully continue him on that path.

So he was in a Montessori preschool. I've looked at some of their free stuff online montessoriforeveryone.com but what else does it consist of?

Its just learning by lessons and games, they focus on continents, or practical life, there is a whole curriculum, I think with 7 areas??( I should know!) So an actual school just has more of a lesson plan that focuses on all the areas, but the kids are still free to choose which lessons they want to do. They don't have to share (I love that) a lesson, but they do group work too. ITs also very oriented to the older kids teach the younger. Its better if you have an array of ages. I have really loved it. I just wish it wasn't so pricey. But everything it Atlanta is.
