Do you want to run/walk with me?

Next Saturday at Atlantic Station (hello, that is so close) there is race for a great cause! Check it out, Race for the Cure for breast cancer. Check out my site and sign up! I am currently on the team Hero's for Hope and you can sign up on that team or by yourself. You can even just walk one mile, or run/walk a 5K. This is definitely not a competitive race, so if you are have been too timid to try, this is the one for you! So go for it.

seriously i'm not even sure i can walk a mile. sad but true. however, i am thinking of trying because i think this is such a worthy cause.
oh, by the way. i had to laugh about GJ and the mesh feeder. it took desmond awhile to realize the greatness of the thing. as for peaches across the room. ditto. i find random sticky spots all over. i often wonder if i should encourage him to use such a messy thing. but he seems to enjoy it and it gives me a few minutes to get something done and that right there is worth it.

Hey Jenny and Winnie - I'm game! I think I might even be able to run the full 5k.

Okay I signed up - but I've got some dumb questions about trivial things. I'll be calling you again.

Okay today I ran 3.2 miles just to make sure I could do it - it wasn't pretty, but it's been done, so I think I'm ready for Saturday. One question though, where do you put your keys when you run????

They usually have some kind of bag check, and I would hope they would for a race this big. Did you get an email today? I see we were too late for them to mail our numbers, so we're going to have to arrive early. In nashville since we were late, I just had to run the whole time with my keys in my hands. I hope they have something though.

How'd the race go? I need some pics of you and Mary running. I'll have to check her blog next. We made it to Dayton. Our place is a mansion compared to Carondelet. My mom is coming tomorrow and hopefully we can get some serious unpacking/arranging done. Its been a slow process, but I think it will be really nice when we're all settled.
