Grandfathers

I was able to stop in Boise for a half a day before driving to Yellowstone. I got to see both of my grandpas for a visit. Grandpa is 84 and we played Skipbo like always. Then we saw Pompie and Donna. Pompie is 90. Amazing. I wish we lived closer, it had been a while since I saw them and who knows when I will be able to get back.

I love Dos

We cat-sat a couple weeks ago and SM had such a great time. Last night before bed, I said "I love SM, Daddy and GJ." In response, SM said "I love mama, I love Daddy, I love GJ and I love Dos." He hasn't seen or mentioned the cat in over a week, but he made the list. When we move into our next permanent place (hopefully next summer?!?) I am getting a cat. He also took about 15 pictures of Dos lounging on the spare bed. He really had a good time with that cat. I doubt the feeling were returned though.

Lasik?

I am trying to decide if I should get my eyes done. Are there any opinions out there? do you know anyone that has done it in ATL and can recommend a good place?

Milk?!?

I was talking to my sister in Oregon the other day and she was complaining about the cost of soy milk. As I too am now required to buy this (not so delicious) product, I was saying how its not much worse than regular milk. She says its way more, as she only pays $2.25 for milk. WHAT? I just paid $4.50 today, and I am not talking Mayfield or anything, this is store brand. How much is milk where you live? Is this some GA cow conspiracy?

Peachtree Road Race

C and I got up extra early this holiday and ran the biggest road race (participants, that is). It was a 10K and had about 55,000 people. We had to wait forever to start running as we were in the last group, but it was a lot of fun. I got just over an hour, so pretty predictable. It was very hard as about a mile was uphill, but I made it! Thanks for the #'s, K. It was hot, but I am glad to say I finally did it!
Girls run tomorrow AM.
