Maybe you can't tell from this picture, but it was cold, raining, and miserable. I told myself when I woke up if it was raining, I would wear pants, and shorts if it was not. It started raining about 2 seconds after I left. I was not as prepared as I should have been, I hadn't run more than 4 miles since the half marathon last November. My time was not great, but pretty standard for me. Oh well. I did it and now I know better. Still debating Nashville in April though.

Oh man, I'm doing the Tulip Run next month and I'm pretty sure I'll be soaked afterward as well. Silver Comet 10k, please tell me it was for something awesome.
You rock. I hope you don't mind if I live through you since I had to give up running (temporarily) through this pregnancy... :)
i'm just impressed you did it. if i even thought it might rain i'd stay home in bed. you really do rock!
You look wet and tired, but happy! Way to go!
Now that's determination!!
Way to go! I am so impressed with your drive...I wish I could get it in gear...help?!
good job! I am thoroughly impressed.
Wendy, you should really come here and run Bloomsday. You would love it! :)
That picture looks awesome. What a die hard runner magazine picture. You're awesome!
I LOVE this picture! Was this a professional one? Man, I'm so jealous! I was telling Craig the other day that we should definitely do Nashville in 2010. Obviously I won't be there this year, but I would LOVE to do it next year!
