Milk?!?

I was talking to my sister in Oregon the other day and she was complaining about the cost of soy milk. As I too am now required to buy this (not so delicious) product, I was saying how its not much worse than regular milk. She says its way more, as she only pays $2.25 for milk. WHAT? I just paid $4.50 today, and I am not talking Mayfield or anything, this is store brand. How much is milk where you live? Is this some GA cow conspiracy?

No, maybe the Oregon cows are just being generous. Or maybe the soy beans and the cows had an equal rights convention and decided to "split the cost." Our milk is nearing $4 hear in Texas...not quite there yet, but in the $3.90's!

I get milk in Ohio between $2.50-$2.75. Thats at Meijer or Sam's Club. For some reason Kroger still wants $3.75. Gas though is $3.98 at the good stations and $4.09 at the bad ones. How much is it in Atlanta? I think last summer our gas here was more expensive than Atlanta.

I paid $3.29 here in Austin Texas on Thursday, but that was at Costco and if you go anywhere else it is can be up to 4 dollars. Got gas on Thursday too for $3.95 but saw that on Saturday it was $3.98.

I think maybe you ARE having a GA cow conspiracy... Sounds like it! I pay about $2.99 in Spokane, but that's at Walmart so it's pretty cheap there.

Sounds like you need to move back to the Pacific NW!! :)

We have it delivered for about $6 a gallon. If we need more the cheapest organic is Fred Meyer at $5.49 a gallon. Gas is $4.33, but last week I bought cheaper Arco gas for $4.29.

We get our milk at Safeway - everyday low price of 2 for $5.38 (if you only buy 1 it is close to $4). Occasionally Fred Myer will have a coupon for 5 (1/2 gal) for $5.
